Planning a bridal shower is one of the many items on the 'to
do' list of many bridesmaids. Here are some great bridal shower tips
and unique ideas to make planning your bridal shower an easy and enjoyable
experience.
Tips for hosting a bridal shower
-
Bridal showers usually take place 1 month prior to
the wedding
-
Ask the bride for a guest list
-
Send out invitations 2 weeks prior to the shower
-
Ask guests to R.S.V.P. at least 1 week prior
-
Many times, a mother, mother-in-law, or other
friends or family members host the bridal shower
-
Sunday afternoons are the most popular day/time to
host a shower
-
Include where the bride is registered in the
invitations
-
It is customary for the maid/matron of honor to be responsible
for the expenses, however usually the bridesmaids, mom,
mother-in-law chip in.
-
Include a blank recipe card in each invitation,
along with a note for the guest to share their favorite
